Do you have any questions around your child’s development matters, communication skills, sleep, potty learning , fussy eating/packed lunches, dummies and bottles, come along to our informal drop in for parent, carers and families for the opportunity to meet professionals and teams from other service providers who will be available for support and to answer your questions.

We want to invite local families to contribute to the design and delivery of the Family Hubs to make sure they meet the needs of our local community.    

We are looking for parents, carers and young people who are willing to work with us to shape the Family Hub services in Barrow and Dalton.  

Family Hub - Barrow Library – Friday 28th February 12.30pm-2.30pm 

A parent & carer led session, a safe space for you to come and play and interact with your child/children while meeting other parents too. Why not bring a friend?  

Family Hub-Barrow Library-Every Monday, 1pm-4.30pm

Family Hub - Barrow Library – every Tuesday 1pm-4.30pm. (Except 11th Feb and 11th March)  

Suitable for ages 0-5 years.

Drop-in session-no booking required. 

Come and join us for FREE fun sessions with your child whilst learning about how to best support their Speech, Language and Communication skills. 

This group is for children aged 2 to 4 years and their parents. 

The Family Hub –Dalton Community Centre – Starting Thursday 27th February for 6 consecutive weeks.

Alongside our Health Visitors clinic, enjoy time with your baby and meet other parents. Slow down, relax and enjoy some play time!

A fun and exciting 5-week course to help with your Toddlers health, physical skills, early reading, potty learning and communication.  

This group is for children aged walking to 4 years and their parents. 

Family Hub - Dalton Community Centre – starting Friday 17th January  10.30am-11.30am.  

Baby Buddies  

A free 5 week course for parents and their babies aged 0-6 months. Come and join us to chat, play and learn about topics such as weaning, bonding, attachment, and oral health.

Massage, movement and messy play. 

For children 7-12 months. 

Come and join us for FREE fun with your little ones at our new session, remember spare clothes and be prepared to get messy.

A FREE 5-week course for parent/carers where you can learn how to soothe, massage and relax your baby whilst supporting their developmental milestones.  Both courses focus on a routine designed for babies at each development stage. 

This group is for babies 0-6 Months .
