About Family Hubs
What do Family Hubs provide?
Family Hubs provide support and guidance to families with children aged 0-19 (25 with SEND) in Westmorland and Furness. We aim to keep children, young people and their families happy, healthy and safe by providing spaces and places to learn and thrive.
The Family Hub Transformation Programme is a Department for Education-funded initiative that aims to bring together a range of services and support for families into a single, accessible location.
Family hubs are designed to promote early intervention, collaboration, and integrated service delivery and to be a central point of contact for families.
You can find out more about the national programme of Family Hubs at the National Centre for Family Hubs website.
