Drop in Session with the Child Exploitation Team & Child Centered Policing

Do you have worries or concerns that your child or a child that you know may be being exploited for sexual or criminal activity?

Do you want to speak to someone about your concerns or discuss your worries?

Do you want to know about support available for those affected by exploitation?

It is everyone’s responsibility to safeguard young people against Child Exploitation, you don’t have to do this alone!

'Trying New Foods' Drop-In

Would you consider your child to be a 'fussy eater'?
Are meal times a battle?
Would you like to chat with a Health Care Professional in a relaxed and welcoming space?
If the answer is yes, then our 'Fussy Eating' drop i session might be for you! No booking needed. It is not essential to bring your child to the session.

The last Wednesday of every month. Family Hub -Barrow Library at 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

The Family Hub invites you to come along to Barrow Library on Thursday 8th February from 9.30 – 11am, and speak to representatives of Carer Support Furness. 


It’s estimated that over 44,000 (9.5%) people in Cumbria provide unpaid care – higher than the national average (8.9%). Some carers are as young as 5 years old. 


Carer Support Furness will be on hand to speak to you in relaxed surroundings, supported by our fabulous library staff and the Westmorland & Furness Family Hub team.
